You're Sweet, Valentine! Free Printable

If you are like me and tend to wait until the last minute to put together Valentine's this free bag topper printable may help!

I found these darling Japanese ice cream puzzle erasers at my local party store (you can find them online too) and knew it would be the perfect way to give LM's Kindergarten class a fun 'treat' without being a treat at all! Since they pull apart and put back together like puzzles my girls have been playing with them almost non-stop, so I think they will be a hit with the younger age group.

I like to give candy-free Valentine's, but with this printable you can fill the bag up with any little 'sweet' thing you can think of so it's totally versatile. It is the perfect size for 3"x4" treat bags which are big enough to hold 1-3 little treats. Just print the toppers on cardstock or other heavy paper, cut them out, have your little one fill up the bags and write their name after the xoxo, then help them staple on the bag toppers. Super easy!

You can download/print the bag toppers 9 to a page here. For personal use only, please.

Have a sweet Valentine's Day!

vintage embroidery: mr. + mrs.

(image flipped here)

I was thinking about embroidery patterns and remembered that I had thrifted some vintage iron-on transfers a few months back. I don't think I am going to use these at the moment, but I thought you might like too! This is just one part so I will probably have some more for you in the future. Please use this for personal use only and enjoy!

free lovelies: be mine, valentine

I've already sent Husband a big hint to download this gorgeous Valentine's Day card designed by Carolynn of Two Brunettes. It comes with a matching envelope as well and I think it is perfection.

belle and boo

The illustrations of London based Belle and Boo remind me of a favorite of mine, Sarah Jane Studios, so it's no wonder I fell in love at first sight. The adorable Belle and her best friend and confidant Boo the bunny inhabit the most charming world full of many friends and fun adventures. Wouldn't it be lovely to spend the day with them?

I am especially loving the birthday cards pictured below (party planning mode is in full swing).

And lucky for all of us, Mandy, the imagination behind Belle and Boo, has offered a free download on the Feed Your Soul Project!

free lovelies

As you can probably tell by now I have three main loves in my life (not counting husband) - motherhood, sewing, and pretty much anything vintage. Therefore, when I saw these Betsy McCall paper dolls on Mer Mag - I fell hard.

amy bulter for free!

I made this throw quilt months ago from an Amy Butler quilt pattern I downloaded for free. I just went back to her website and was reminded just how many FREE cute patterns she has available! There are a bunch of fun quilt patterns, and other little projects including these cute cat pillows, along with duvet cover, fabric necklaces, and silhouette cutouts... enough to keep you busy all summer!
